This is the cover of the renewed Challenge Pad (our dedicated tablet for distance learning services). Since most of the services are experienced on this tablet, the ease of use of the tablet directly affects the overall quality of the service. The development of the tablet had been delayed, so this was a project with a very short time frame and no room for error, but I was able to achieve a level of quality that other departments could deploy by diverting the design.

It must be able to reliably protect the special stylus, which is more expensive than before, without interfering with the new tablet's ability to write with its hands. In order to meet these requirements, we gave up the idea of covering the tablet by sewing, and instead, we adopted a new structure in which the holding part is molded and the outer part is thermo-pressurized.
In fact, the design should be done after the user survey. However, we were too short on time, so we designed the product without waiting for the user survey. However, we did follow up by scheduling the enclosed instruction manual only to be rewritten after the survey.We did get some user feedback. For example, the removal method should be described in the instruction manual, not on the web. On the other hand, some users said that it was unstable and difficult to write when "standing up". We were not able to improve the design in time, so we added that to the instruction manual as well.
It is not practical to make everything perfect. We evaluated the frequency and importance of the project and tried to improve the quality as much as possible within the limited resources and schedule.
